Things To Do for 1.8.0

Planned

  • Probably the most important thing we plan is to keep track of whatever gets done in trunk for 1.7.1/1.8.0 so that we make sure to port it to the 2.0/QT4 branch when the time comes. (If the time comes, which I must confess seems dauntingly unlikely at the moment.)

Implemented

New Features

  • Improve resilience of frame - realtime - frame round-trip conversions (Chris, rev 8903)
  • Make it possible to use synth plugins for the metronome (Chris, rev 8903)
  • Use the name of the segment in the clipboard as the default label when adding a new triggered segment via the triggered segments manager (Julie Swango, rev 8925)
  • It is now possible to configure Rosegarden so that it no longer appends strings like “(copied)” and “(split)” to segments when manipulating them. (Julie Swango, rev 8938)
  • Indonesian translation. (Citra Paska, rev 8939)

Significant Bug Fixes

  • Fix crash when cutting a range (Yves, rev 8897)
  • Export either fractional or common time signatures to match the notation editor, with some minor constraints imposed by LilyPond (Heikki, rev 8915)
  • Implement ottava brackets in LilyPond export (Heikki, rev 8917)
  • Export pedal marks as \sustainDown and \sustainUp in LilyPond (Heikki, rev 8919)
  • Distinguish between 8va/8vb and 15ma/15mb à la LilyPond (Michael, rev 8920)
